House Mom (paid staff position)
Lifehouse Maternity Home is staffed 24/7 by our wonderful House Moms. House Moms are Christian women who have a heart for the Lord, nurturing, encouraging, mentoring, organizing, teaching, praying, and loving on babies and moms.
A House Mom works a 24-hour shift, serving as a maternal role model for residents of all ages. BONUS: You get paid to sleep. House Moms have a private bedroom and bath, and are paid during their sleeping hours. House Moms must be able to go up and down stairs while carrying items, able to lift up to 20 pounds, solve problems, lead "family-style" discussions, share a devotional prepared by the Program Manager, and pray with and for our residents.
House Mom is a flexible position requiring as little as one day a month or more often. It is ideal for retirees or empty nesters.
